Moon Yoga Mat

Design Story

The phases of the moon reflect a spiritual path from beginning to end. It has a magnetic energy that affects us all, particularly our emotions, mood + energy levels.

We collaborated with a Dubai-based Arabic calligraphy artist to bring this idea to life. Each phase of the moon has been designed to portray empowering words in Arabic calligraphy. It reads: love, strength, compassion, empower, freedom, happiness + growth.

Colour theory:
We selected a deep, sky blue colour for this yoga mat, as it signifies serenity, trust + freedom.

Fun fact: our co-founder’s name means ‘moonlight’

The top surface of this yoga mat is made with Polyurethane (PU) – a super sleek + grippy material for a safe + supported practice. The base of the yoga mat is made from natural tree rubber, for its anti-skid + shock absorption properties, ensuring the mat doesn’t slip on any floors.
